Facebook is rolling out two new features for creators to deepen fan interaction: Fan Challenges and Custom Top Fan Badges. Alongside these, the platform is also offering enhanced metrics so creators can better understand and reward their most engaged followers.

What’s New ?
Fan Challenges
Creators with at least 100,000 followers can now issue custom challenges to their audience. These are prompts or tasks fans can complete — anything from sharing their morning routines to reacting to new launches or events.
When a challenge is live, it will appear on the creator’s Page, with a feed displaying submitted entries and a leaderboard showing top contributors. Entries are ranked based on reactions (likes, comments, etc.), and fans may submit multiple posts or Reels to participate. Challenges can run for just a few days or stretch over months.
While there are no built-in rewards, creators can recognize top fans however they like — shoutouts, features, or exclusive privileges. Challenges can be public or private, giving creators flexibility and control over participation and visibility.
Custom Top Fan Badges
For pages with over 1 million followers, Facebook now enables creators to name their own badge for top fans. These badges can be refreshed monthly, and fans can accept or reject them. This is an elevated version of the standard “Top Fan” badge, offering a more personalized way to highlight super-engaged followers.
Engagement Metrics for Top Fans
Additionally, Facebook is introducing new analytics around the number of Top Fans a page has. These metrics help creators see how their recognition efforts impact deeper audience loyalty and engagement over time.
Why It Matters for Creators & Brands
These new tools help shift from passive followers to active communities. Fan Challenges make audiences feel part of something — they get to co-create, not just consume. Custom badges deepen the emotional connection, turning superfans into visible advocates.
For brands or creators running campaigns across multiple niches, having multiple accounts ensures you can test different challenge types or badge strategies without risking your flagship account. If scaling is part of your plan, using Bulk Facebook Accounts can help you experiment broadly without jeopardizing your main profile.
